  1. Hosting and server log files

Our website is hosted by GoDaddy (GoDaddy.com, LLC / GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC, 100 S. Mill Ave, Suite 1600, Tempe, AZ 85281, USA). When you visit the website, technically necessary data is stored automatically: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system, and the referring page.

The purpose is the secure and stable operation of the website. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after no more than 30 days. We have a data processing agreement with GoDaddy. Any transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

  1. Cookies

Our website uses technically necessary cookies, for example to remember your selected language (German/English) and your cookie choices. These do not require consent (Section 165(3) TKG 2021; Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). All other cookies and services (Google Ads, Google Maps) are only loaded once you agree in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings. A list of all cookies can be found in our Cookie Policy.

  1. Contact via form, email or phone

If you contact us via the contact form, by email or by phone, we process your details (name, email address, subject, message and any voluntary details such as preferred dates, number and level of participants) to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Without these details we cannot answer your enquiry. If no booking results, we delete the data after no more than 12 months.

  1. Bookings and lessons

If you book a course or private lesson, we process the data needed to provide it: name, contact details, dates, participants and, where relevant, age and skill level. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep invoice data for seven years due to tax law obligations (Section 132 Austrian Federal Fiscal Code BAO; Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).

We process health information (e.g. injuries or allergies of children) only if you share it voluntarily, and only for your safety during lessons (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).

  1. Fonts

The fonts used on our website are stored locally on our server. No connection to Google or other providers’ servers is established.

    1. Google Ads and Google Tag Manager

With your consent, we use Google Ads conversion tracking and Google Tag Manager by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. This lets us measure whether visitors reach us through our ads. Cookies (e.g. _gcl_au) are set and usage data such as IP address, pages visited and device information is sent to Google. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings.

    Google Maps

Our website embeds maps from Google Maps (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). The map is only loaded once you agree in the cookie banner. Your IP address and information about your use of the map are then sent to Google, and cookies may be set. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, Section 165(3) TKG 2021), which you can withdraw at any time via the cookie settings. More information: policies.google.com/privacy

  1. Links to social networks

Our website links to our Instagram profile. This is a simple link; no data is sent to Instagram when you visit our website. Only when you click the link do the privacy terms of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. apply.

  1. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Please write to office@skischuleschlosskopflech.at.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde), Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.
